最新の企業ニュース Canton Fair 2026 Is 5 Weeks Away: Answer These 4 Questions Before You Shop for a Filling Line

Canton Fair 2026 opens on October 15 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, and for anyone who fills or packages products in bottles, cans, jars or pails, it is one of the most efficient sourcing weeks of the year. If your company plans to attend, the five weeks between today and the opening will decide how productive that week becomes.

Buyers who leave with real proposals share one habit: they define the project before they compare suppliers. A filling line supplier can quote in minutes, but the quote is only as useful as the information behind it. Answer four questions first, and every meeting you hold at the fair — in any industry — moves straight to solutions.

Four Questions to Settle Before You Compare Prices

These questions apply to every industry that fills and packages — food and beverage, pet food, pharmaceutical and healthcare products, household chemicals, agrochemicals and more. The answers determine which machines, which layout and which supplier fit your project.

1. What state is your product in? Free-flowing liquids, viscous pastes, products with particles, and hot or corrosive liquids behave very differently in the same machine: a cooking oil, a fruit sauce and a paint are not filled the same way. Describe viscosity, temperature and particle content, and a supplier can point you to the right filling machine rather than a generic one.

2. What container does your product go into, and what happens after filling? Bottles, jars, cans and pails lead to different downstream steps, and the moment after filling often decides line speed: if closing cannot keep pace with filling, the whole line slows down. Knowing your container and closure lets a supplier judge whether you need an automatic capping machine, a seaming solution or a simpler closing method — and how each step fits together.

3. What is your target output today — and in three years? Capacity shapes the line more than any other factor. Buying for today's orders can force a second investment sooner than expected, while oversizing ties up capital in idle speed. State your current target and a realistic growth plan, and ask every supplier to quote the same specification — only then are prices truly comparable.

4. Who packs the cartons and handles the pallets? End-of-line labor is a rising cost everywhere, and manual packing is often the bottleneck that a new filling line does not solve. Even if your plan starts with filling only, mention the full scope: a carton packing machine at the end changes how the line is designed from the first meter.

Your Five-Week Countdown to October 15

This month — send your four answers to a shortlist. Choose candidates by the process steps you need — filling, capping, labeling, cartoning, palletizing — not by industry label. Ask three or four suppliers how they would handle your product, container and capacity; the quality of the replies tells you which engineers deserve a meeting. Few events match the scale of this packaging machinery exhibition in Guangzhou, with more filling and packing suppliers under one roof than almost anywhere else.

Early October — compare approaches, not prices. With preliminary feedback in hand, compare how each candidate solves your problem: which steps they include, how they handle changeovers and cleaning, and whether the line can grow with you. Confirm your meeting times now — a booked thirty minutes with an application engineer is worth more than an hour of walking the aisles.

October 15–19 — use the show floor to verify. Phase 1 of the 140th Canton Fair covers electronics and smart home appliances, industrial manufacturing and machinery, hardware and tools, and more. Shanghai LWT will present complete filling and packaging automation solutions in the Processing Machinery Hall of this phase. Click to request the fair floor map and an LWT invitation letter— leave your details and our team will contact you directly with everything you need to plan your visit. Bring product samples and containers: with your four answers already on file, our engineers can move straight to a practical review of dosing, sealing and line layout on the spot.

Start the Conversation Before You Pack

Shanghai LWT designs and builds filling and packaging automation — from single machines to complete production lines — for customers in more than 100 countries and regions, certified to CE, ISO9001 and SGS. Whether you process food or produce pharmaceutical and healthcare products, agrochemicals, chemicals, paints or household goods, the same logic applies: fill accurately, close reliably, pack efficiently and move it out.

Do not wait for October 15. Contact us and tell us about your requirements — your products, your containers and your target output. We will come back with initial thoughts as soon as we receive your message, continue the discussion with you before the show, and arrange your meeting time at the fair.

See you in Guangzhou.
